Time to read! Lately our helper robots are swamped, but check out what's hot:

It's that time of year again - the W3 Awards are, well, being awarded, and yours truly got one! This year BookGlutton got a Silver in the Publishing Category (last year's was in community). We're excited! Also, just this week The Utne Reader mentioned BookGlutton in an article titled The Art of Digital Story Telling and pointed to a few of our favorite Groups.
Tweet-freaks, stay current on BookGlutton News
with the BookGluttonNews
Twitter stream, or see what people are reading on the
@bookglutton stream. We've also been known to drop by our
fb page from time to time.

Did you know you can navigate through a book using your keyboard? Space bar will turn your page for you. Depending on your browser, you can also try pageup/pagedown or the arrow keys (up/down).
Not sure how BookGlutton works? Watch the Widget
Video, the How
It Works video or the Uploading and Sharing video. Also remember to check out our SciFi
First Lines Facebook App and our Blog.

READING OPTIONS ON BOOKGLUTTON ARE EXPLODING! Check out the Books
page. See our new genre categories, book highlights, and, most
important, our new contemporary content. We've partnered with a few
publishers to sell work via the site, so now you can get fresh
technology and business reads, some new novels from small publishers,
and a bit of Halloween fiction. We'll be rolling more out over the next
month, and this is the only place in the world you can meet inside a
book, so check back often!
PREVIEWING AND SHARING Open any book on the site, items for sale just
limit how much of the text you see. Clicking the Buy button inside any
book gets you full access. Haven't bought the book yet? You'll see a
short preview of each section - it's a lot like flipping through a
book in a store. If you want to see the table of contents just slide
up that tab at the bottom of the screen and jump to a new section to
read the preview.
Friends who don't buy the book can still chat and share notes with you
in the free preview. You can also add sale books to any Group Reading
list as well. People who buy it can access and comment on the whole
thing, others will talk over the preview portions. Naturally you can
all chat, so if you like what you see you can share your opinion.

READ FASTER AND BETTER There are a few shortcuts to getting around BookGlutton.
- Use the Group pulldown in the upper right corner to change the Group
you're reading with
- Switch the book you're reading at any time - there's a catalog
button at the bottom of the Reader
- Use Space Bar to go forward through a book
- Slide open the Table of Contents using the tab at the bottom of the screen
- Log into the main website and use that nifty header menu with your
name on it: Collections takes you to Recent Reads and Recent
Purchases.
