PUBLIC NOTES

Angad Guglani: I predict that the full wrath of the French revolution will soon affect all of the characters in some way. I believe this because of the background information I have learned about the French revolution. I also fell I have picked up Dickens’s writing style he uses unifying factors such as the revolution throughout the novel, and he continues to introduce seemingly unrelated and minor characters which are connects them to the unifying factors. This is shown in the introduction of Defarge early in the novel. He is identified as just a plain wine shop keeper but as the novel continues he is unified to the other characters by his affiliation with Dr. Manette and the "jacques" which then connects him to the Marquis and then to Darnay. As I read further in the book the web we drew in class starts to make and more sense and is helping me predict what will happen later in the book.
