Missing Chapter: I chose to rewrite the last chapter of the book because I was not satisfied with the ending. The ending was dramatic, but I liked Sydney Carton, plus I prefer happy endings. So, I changed the ending so that Sydney Carton is not killed along with the girl he met in the line at the guillotine. It is a much lighter end to the story because everyone lives happily ever after.
