Full lyrics?: Commentators insist that this line is the child's corruption of his dad's correct line, "On the little green place." I don't buy it. "Place" should, apparently, be "grave" anyway, so it's already wrong. Full lyrics of the song would be useful! \
Anyway, the line sugests something like green "woe" or "wore" on the both (the grave and the rose both wear green).
